My 92s heater outputs is poor, it puts out heat but in sufficient to comfortably warm the occupants. Was going to change the thermostat as a starting point but thought I'd look for some advice first. Thanks, Bill
What is the actual coolant temperature when car is warmed up?? If temperatures are normal It sounds more like a clogged heating coil is causing your issue.

not sure the return hose was 140, did not have a way to measure coolant. Cars in storage its winter here in ny. Will do more test then. Also dash was not working well just got it back from bettie.
There is a restrictor in the smaller of the hoses. It is about 12" forward of the core, has two clamps on it. If there has ever been any stop leak or other band-aid stuff put in the cooling system, these restrictors get clogged.
If an incorrect thermostat has been installed, the heater loop will not have good flow. The thermostat for the LTx must have the little disc on the bottom to close off the bypass circuit when the temperature is 'on the stat'.
The other guys in your thread are asking the correct "first" question. What is the coolant operating temperature?
