Yes the PCV is just a mockup. I'm taking the car in to a shop on monday to get some stainless steel intake piping put in there. But I figured I could spend $10 in PCV to figure out how to route everything before I dropped $280 on a real setup, $190 of that being parts, $90 labor.
Actuall I think the heat issue with the turbo is almost taken care of just by having it mounted where it is at. There is so much more airflow through the bottom of the car than a normal turbo setup that I don't think it will be an issue.
My biggest problem right now is trying to figure out how to fit my airfilter on it. All the cone ones seem to be too long to fit directly on the turbo and too large in diameter to move elsewhere. I may have to just modify one of the conical ones I've got to fit on the end of the turbo.
the PVC hasn't started a fire, even though it is very close to the exhaust manifold. I drove it around for a while just for the fun of it (and to take it to a shop) and it was ok, wouldn't hold any boost though. We'll see on monday when it goes to the shop, I've get to install my turbo timer this weekend, it should be fun trying to bypass the GM key security to get it to work
