Fun surprise
I have a GM1 RPO code for 2.59 rear. But I was curious about the rear gears after driving the car this summer because it will easily spin the tires with the traction control off.... Today I had it up in the air and decided to check. And what do you know, 1 turn of the axle gives me just over 3 turns of the drive shaft! Somebody upgraded it!

I just realized had the opposite kind of luck recently. I’ve been thinking I had one of the relatively few 93s with factory cloth seats, never bothered to check the codes because it seemed pretty obvious. Then I ordered a window sticker and there it is, Leather Seats $475. Somebody downgraded it!
