I have coolant dripping off my starter and cant find the source. Based on the location, I assumed the passenger knock sensor but its dry, as is the freeze plug. I pulled the starter and trans inspection cover and the coolant is coming from somewhere above that area.
Nothing obvious up top, all hoses and clamps are less than a year old? I threw a pressure tester on the expansion tank, but that was inconclusive.
How common is a leaking steam pipe bolt/rubber washer?
The car has about 100k. Ty!

I don't have a '95, but since nobody has chimed in, it could be orginating from a few places other than hoses or pipes.
There's a core plug (freeze plug) between the trans and engine.
That would suck.
Could be a head gasket.
Mainly sucks, but not the end of the world.
Could be an intake gasket leak. Easy repair.
What's your oil look like?
TY for the reply. The oil is normal. I pulled the flywheel inspection cover and didn't see any coolant evidence from between the engine and trans, thankfully.
Could be an external headgasket leak. There's not a lot of room to see what's going on by the firewall! The search continues 😀
