OIL LEAK!
However, if it's dripping on the ground and forming a pool you might need to investigate.
Here's the posibilities:
1) :yesnod: Distributor Gasket Leaking
2) :) Oil Sending Unit/Plumbing Leaking
3) :U Intake Manifold Leaking at rear seal
4) :mad Oil Pan Gasket Leaking At The Rear
5) Rear Main Seal Leaking
6) :cry Front Main Tranny Seal Leaking
If you're living right and going to church on Sunday it'll be either 1,2 or 3. ;)
If you need to thank God for all life's wonderful blessings it'll be 4,5 or 6.:mad
If you've REALLY been good, it'll be #1 :blueangel:
# 1 is a no brainer to fix
# 2 is a PITB to get to
# 3 will require removing a LOT of stuff
# 4 or 5 will require you to pull the oil pan to fix it.
# 6 will require pulling the tranny :cry
Good luck with it.
WHOOPS, I see your Vette is a '93.
Here's what to do:
1) Take # 1 off the list.
2) Pray more
Best!

( 9 out of 10 of'em got oil under there AND on the transmission pan.)
And a little on the heads under the valve covers.
And a little around the timing chain cover.
"If it's not leaking a little bit there's probably no oil in it."
