How to Check 4+3 Fluid Levels
How do you check the fluid in both the actual trans and the OD unit?? The unit was serviced "recently" by the previous owner, I bought the car in October and have put about 6k miles on it, I belive him because the rest of the car was very well taken care of and he is a forum member, but I want to just double check everything because the shifter kinda feels a little notchy and sometimes it doesnt really want to go into 2nd gear when its cold...any suggestions :cheers:

I would suggest a little anti-seize on the fill plug since the case is aluminum and the plug is steel. I have had trouble with the plugs freezing to the case in both my ex-85 and 88. Both cars ran well with the Mobil synthetic ATF and it is extra insurance against varish, and high temperature related problems.
