Default Weatherstripping push pin question

I have a 96 coupe. Replacing the A Pillar weatherstripping. Bought it from CRC. Didn't come with the push pins. The long upper pins are 5/8" L x 3/16" W with a 7/16" head diameter. It requires 1 at the top corner at each side. No sweat. I have a bunch them.
The problem is the smaller lower push pins. They are 7/16" L x 1/8" W with a 3/8" head diameter. There are 2 required at the lower part of the weatherstrip for each side. I searched everywhere and can't find them. I ordered from several sources and every shipment that comes in is the long upper pins. The GM part number for the push pin set is GM reference #:12503854 and 25016383. When researching the dimensions of these push pins they are all the 5/8" long upper push pins. Again.. wrong for the lower.
I guess every person on the forum that replaced their A pillar weatherstripping were able to reuse the lowers. Unfortunately for mine the factory used so much black adhesive I broke 2 of them to get them out.

I tried every auto parts store in my area which is most of them and they are not available. I would rather use the correct factory push pins but it looks like that isn't going to be possible. One thought is to drill out the holes to match the upper holes and cut the long push pins I have to the length of the shorter ones and just use those.

Has anyone run into this issue? I know its really trivial but after spending over $500 for all the weatherstripping I would like to do the job factory correct. Thanks!

This is just an odd shot, if you know 1 is one size and the other is the next size up. What if you took a drill bit (not drilling just to measure the holes) then take that measurement and search Amazon with the dimension
I just did it as weather strip push pins Corvette and it popped up
