EEPROM for a 1985
Does anyone know where I can find an EEPROM for a 1985 or at least what kind of EEPROM can be put into a 1985 ECM? I have a Pocket Programmer II that will use these but I don't know where to start on purchasing the chip.
TIA!!

The actualy EPROM you are looking for is going to be a 2732, 2732A, etc.
Radio Shack doesn't sell them. If you have a local electronic supply house, they will usually carry a "JimPack" brand. It will be about $5 for one.
Another source is Astro Marketing in Melbourne FL. I don't have the number for them anymore because that harddrive literally got thrown across the room :blueangel: They sell what are called 'pulls'...EPROMs that have been used once and then pulled from existing circuits. You need to erase them first.
Craig Moates http://www.moates.net might have an adapter that allows you to use a flash-based EPROM, called a(n?) EEPROM. It would save you from having to buy an eraser.
