Here's a question ~

If you were trying to reduce the number of sockets/wrenches to include, does anyone know the sizes that are NEVER used. Seems a waste to take unnecessary tools. Just a thought.

I think 10mm, 14mm, 15mm and 17mm deep and short are pretty important sockets to have. Flashlight, blanket, flares, jumper cables, serpentine belt.

I also have a piece of hard wood about 14x14x1 to put under the jack in case I have to change a tire in soft/damp dirt or gravel (AGAIN! :banghead: ), I had to do this once in my other car because it was the only safe place to pull over but the stupid jack kept sinking until I found something on the side of the road to put under it. Now I carry one with me and it fits behind the passenger seat, it’s painted black so it doesn’t stand out and look ugly.

{Edit} Oh, and shop rags and those blue rubber gloves so you don't get the interior all gunky and oily after you do an emergency repair. {/Edit}

Something like a 100 peace craftsmen mechanics set. Also a set of torx bits, a few other misc wrenches, hose tape, duct tape, 1 really long sparkplug wire, alternator, halfshaft w/ujoints.
