Default HELP ZF shifter problem

I think maybe it's time to replace the transmission mount in my 94 ZF Tranny. Under part and hard acceleration, the shifter handle bucks up like a bull.

How many mounting points are there? Has anyone changed this mount before? Can you lend some insight into the installation?

Muchos gracias,
Ruedas (Wheels in Spanish)

I'm in the process of installing a ZF in my 88. And unless I'm missing something with my parts, there are only 3 mounting points. The two motor mounts andd the torque arm which is a hard point.

If you find out otherwise please let me know.

Some minor movement is normal. Check your motor mounts or the C-beam tho.

:yesnod: :yesnod: Sounds like the C-Beam bolts have worked loose. Let's everything flex like crazy under hard acceleration.

Here's a pretty good picture of the bolts from Bill Beadreau's ZFDoc site:

You might want to drop Bill a note and let him suggest a troubleshooting path to take...
