Default Part # ?

Guys,

When installing my engine in the car I accidently broke the sensor in the passenger head. If I recall correctly its a coolant sensor for the ecm to make fuel adjustments.

Would anyone have the part number or a catalog that they could look it up for me. At the very least the proper name would help too. LOL.

Thanks

No mine has one on the passengers side, which is for the ECM to make fuel adjustments, then another on the drivers side for the fans. I need the fuel management one. :smash:

ski_dwn_it, what year Vette? My 87 has the coolant probe on the driver's side head. You can get them from Ecklers, MAD, etc.

Its an 89. The sensor is NOT on the drivers side, but rather the passengers side. I know it controls the fuel curve depending on coolant temp, along with other things. Just need the part number so when I go to autozone they are looking at me with the usual dumb look.

Thanks

Are you talking about the Coolant Temp Sender? The one between #6 and #8 spark plugs (or is it #4 and #6, can't remember off the top of my head but there is only one there)? If so, the p/n is: 2503-6135. I just looked at my receipts from my first exhaust manifold install. Be nice, don't ask me how that sender got broken :bb
