Default TB Maintenance

I'm gettin' ready to remove the TB on my 91 L-98 to clean and inspect the IAC and EGR. When I replace the TB, does the gasket go on dry, RTV, or other? Thanks in advance!

Im also looking at cleaning up the throttle body and IAC on my 87. I saw an article in this months (or last) Vette mag and it showed how they did it. How would I know/determine if I need a new throttle body...?

If your throttlebody was bad it wouls have idle quality problems. While its off make sure butterflys close tite with no play. Then just a good cleaning with a can of TB cleaner. Do a search in here theres alot of cool mods you can benefit from since youll have it apart already.
