Default How much HP do you estimate these mods will make?

I just took my 95 LT1, MN6 to the shop to install my TPIS longtubes, 1.6 RR, Random Tech high flow cats (the new improved metalic version good for extra 120cfm), B&B x pipe, Granatelli MAF, as well as Taylor 8mm wires and NGK TR55ix plugs. Any guesses on what kind of HP improvement should be expected at the wheels from these mods? My current mods on the car now are open lid K&N, 160 Tstat, Hurst shifter, Hypertech Power Programmer III and muffler eleminators. With these modest mods I've dynoed at 280HP and 350 max torque on a Mustang dyno. Thanks for your educated speculation :flag

Id expect roughly 10-15hp for the LT headers, about the same for the RR, and in the 5-10 for the rest.

I have tons of mods to my car from the inside to the out. I would guess your looking at no more than 20 ponies with all the bolt on's.

Seems like your getting lots of air out of the mill, get a 52mm throttle body to get more in. You'll be at 300 rwhp and 325 rwft, or near it. Just make sure you get a good one like LPE. This invetment of a few hundred will be the ideal compliment to what you have already done.

It'll set you free!

I've got dyno proof that a 52mm does nothing and I've got more heavy breathing mods than he's got. It's not really worth the money on a stock displacement motor.

id guess 18-25 rwhp at peak. headers a and 1.6 rr will raise the peak points as well... or theory shows. Id suggest a slight raise in redline maybe 200 more rpm, the 1.6s will definitely show up there. :yesnod:

On those mustang dyno's you cant really be sure of the exact power you're making, if you dyno'ed 280hp on a mustang dyno then your probably at 31-320 on normal dyno.

Just to follow up, LPE advised me of 10 to 15 hp gain. Dyno showed 12 at rw. Unfortuantly I did not keep slip and don't recall rwft gain. This was before I added headers (even bigger gains there). Most noticable seat of the pants improvment was burning out from dead stop. Prior to TB change all I got was a chirp. After the change, screaming, smoking and some sideways wiggle! It brought my Beauty to life! Well worth a couple of hundred$.

I know all engines are different, but that is how this one LT1 repsonded. :)
