Here are a pic that Big K asked me to post because he wanted to know if anybody knew were the parts got to.

After seeing the pic I can tell him that the block part is to block off the machanical fuel pump should be on front of the pass side, you dont have nothing there because you dont use a machanical fuel pump... the dile pins are the ones that should be on the back off the block to help you line up the tranny to the block...Most likely they put them new when you had the engine rebuild.

Im sorry dont know where the bolts go to hope this helps.

The Bolts on the right are for the Oil adpater to Block Bolts, the tops are for the oil cooler so when it is bolted in it will not spin.

The bolts in the bottom of the picture are for the oil pan, not sure exactly where they go, but the bigger one is a front pan bolt, the other on the side, they hold the hard line for the oil cooler.

not sure on the things on the left.. are they bolts?

Now I know why I had to buy bolts at the hardware store for the oil cooler adapter! Can't remember for sure but, the two bolts seem to be smaller in diameter than the ones that I replaced them with.
So if in fact these bolts are for the oil cooler adapter, I should replace them?
Sorry I'm a little confused. All the pan bolts are in the holes. These are larger in diameter than the pan holes are.
I "got smart and took the idems in to parts manager at the local dealer. He speculated that where it was rebuilted on an assembly line that maybe parts from one engine got mixed up with mine...thus the blockoff plate for the electric h2o pump.
He thought also that the bullet shaped parts where to guide the engine on when hooking it on to the flywheel(pressureplate). But arnt these parts on the bellhouseing?

The bullet shaped items on the left look like the dowel pins used to align the engine block with the transmission bell-housing.
