i got sick of the anemic output of my 105 amp. alternator. on placing order for replacement i found the outputs of these units varied widely.....ie from a low of 94 amp. to 117 amp.,....all considered stock. i specified a max. amp draw of 117 and then had it re confirmed on arrival. what a difference...and no modifications or price change. i had my work done at a small shop called "crank n' charge" in miami, fl. you don't have to live with a weak electrical system......
In my opioion get an Tuff Stuff, or PowerMaster Altenator......at least in the 140Amp range.....no more generic store alenators......believe me you will be happier....as I have been...
Just my thoughts.

You have to clearance the upper bracket a little and replace the charging wire ring terminal with a larger one. Other than that, it bolts straight on. I did mine in about 45 minutes, taking my time to clearance it.
Oops...almost forgot...the lower alternator to exhaust manifold bracket won't fit, you can either make one to fit or just leave it off. I just left mine off.
