Anyone using wheel spacers? I am planning on buying 2" spacers from Vette brakes for my rear wheels, any thoughts

Re: wheel spacers (vstol)
I'm using spacers on my '84, only because I went with ZR1 rims (17x11) on all 4 corners and the offset on the rims I bought is really for '89 and newer. If I didn't use spacers, the tires would rub. But the spacers I'm using are 3/4 inch thick, I can't imagine 2" spacers ! ! ! Your tires are going to stick out past the wheel wells quite a bit. ? ? ? :steering:

Don't skimp on quality when using spacers/adapters. Some are good & some aren't.
VetteBrakes are supposed to be good.

THANKS, I AM BUILDING A 64 GRAND SPORT AND USING THE 96 SUSPENSION. I NEED TO BRING THE TIRES OUT ABOUT AN 1 1/2 TO FLUSH THE WHEEL WHEELS.

Re: wheel spacers (vstol)
Just make sure to check the full travel of your suspension in the rear ( a good time to befriend that 350lb neighbor). :D That outer wheel well lip can be very unforgiving to your tires unless you plan on jacking the rear end up a few inches.
