ecm paramiters
Hello, Firstly this is my first post, although I have been reading on this forum for about six months. I have an '86 vert that I bought one year ago on my 30th b-day. I am currently rebuilding motor with many mods.
My question is this. Does anyone know how much power the stock ecm can take. I bought a stelthram and my parts guy doesn't think the stock ecm can handle the airflow?
P.S. Ihave learned alot from you guys on this forum and am practically addicted, but love everry minute!!!

It would be better to think of it in terms of mods......if you just change the intake it would run fine with the stock program-but change the inj. or cam etc and then it will need to be reprogrammed. And BTW-welcome to the forum!
