Default Long Tube Header question

I have a set of TPIS Long Tube Headers on my '90 Vette. The passenger side header comes really close to the fuel line. Does anybody have any experience dealing with this problem?

I'm going through that now, I was told to put some cool tape around the fuel lines and a starter blanket on the starter to protect everything.

Get the stuff that's outrageously expensive at Summit. Actually there's two: one is a ceramic convoluted type and the other is soft, glass fiber, maybe Nomex for what I paid for it. But in any event, do protect everthing that's heat sensitive under the hood after you instal the headers. I have the Supercomp ceramic coated ones, but the fact that they run "cooler" than non coated is a very relative comparison! It reminds me of when I had my 95 RX-7TT. Cooks everyting under the hood.
