I'm not sure how well the manifolds will bolt on, I've never dealt with it before. To mount the cat back, just use the LT1 exhaust hangers. I had my muffler shop use these when he fabricated me an exhaust from my headers back. I wanted the option to purchase an LT1 cat back, like the magneflow, later on. You can buy all the mounts from Jeff Kopp (18carfan). He gives geat discounts to forum members.
These are most of the part numbers. You'll also need the 4 bolts that mount the rear hangers. For a D44, they are GM part 10098202. I believe all 84's have the D36 rear end, so you'll have to get the correct part number from Jeff.
I only got the front hanger and the middle hanger (and all the bolts). I left the rear hangers alone.

I think the bigger problem is mating up the two different diameters of teh pipes.
