wipers taking over car !
I have a 1996 that has become possessed by the wipers. When I turn them on they MAY or may not come on. They may dicide to come on in a few minutes or hours.
Has anyone beat this problem?
Is this going to take parts or Priest's?

mine do this too. I havent got around to fixing it yet but we fixed my friends 89 by just taking apart the wiper control motor and switch and cleaning the contacts real good with some alcohol and a cotton swab.

I have a similar issue. Mine will start fine, then, in the intermittent mode, they will go bezerk and move to full speed. I am assuming that the contacts are dirty or corroded. Just need to find the time to clean everything. Low on the priority list.
