Water pump
My 1996 LT4 Water pump has started to leak. I only have 16,000 on this vehicle. What is the real cause. I know that we have addressed this issue before in th Forum, But need to hear it again. If I decide to let it go awhile will I Be asking for problems (like blowing out the rear seal) :confused:

The water pump on my LT1 started to leak out the weep hole at 12,000 miles.
By driving your car with a leaking water pump you are risking damage to the opti spark.

I haven't found an aftermarket water pump for the LT1/4. But, you can attatch a Meziere electric water pump to your stock housing and eliminate any weep hole leaking.
