I installed my superram and I need to know how to hook up the vacuum hose that's located on the intake manifold on the drivers side. It's the large hose that hooks up to the aluminum pipe that goes to the PVC valve in the valve cover and then to a hose that goes to some place near the front of the car. I think it goes to the purge canister near the headlight. The aluminum pipe that the vacuum hose fits onto doesn't fit behind the valve cover like it used to because the Superam takes most of the space. Do I need to bend the pipe straight or is there any way. I think the vacuum hose is 1/2 inch heater hose. any help would be great :flag
I'm not really sure I follow your question and I don't know if this pic will help but.............
There is a hose that connects the pvc valve on the drivers side valve cover to a nipple on the side of the intake base by the #5 and #7 injector.
There are vacuum hoses that go to the TB, both underneath it on on the passenger side to it. And a vacuum hose that goes to the EGR Solenoid. All of these originate from the purge canister I believe.
Which one of the two of these senarios are you inquiring about? If its the latter, there should be a diagram on the drivers side of your radiator cover showing the routing of your vacuum hoses.
