Someone has re-routed the the line from the braided end to the fuel rail line at the fitting. I don't know if it's bad, have not taken it apart yet. It's the pressure line. Can the fitting be repaired or do I have to buy a new line. I think it goes from the braided end to the fuel filter. Only reason I think they did that is they never used the disconnect tool. I just bought this in Jan and the weather has been bad so I put all of it off till weather breaks. It's a 94 Lt1.
I think you are stuck with buying a new line. Give Jeff Koop a call for a wholesale price. As I recall both lines RETAIL for about $125. I don't think you can just order one. Good Luck
Might check eBay, I spotted a pair on there a while back for under $75, the metal line is swaged into the aluminum rail, can't be removed & replaced.
You can replace the entire pass side rail only though (If you can find just that side).
The other option is to cut the old hard line off clean directly behind the damaged area & then weld/braze a -6 AN weld fitting onto the end. Then cut the damaged end off of the braided supply line & put a -6 AN hose end on it. It will work I have accomplished it before... Be careful & remove all fuel & vapors from each piece prior to welding by soaking in hot water with baking soda.
