On your question, we need more information to help you out. Are you running a stock TPI intake? If not, what intake do you have? What heads do you have on the motor? What RPM do you want to make your peak power at? Do you live in an area that does emissions testing? These are all factors which play in the sizing of a camshaft.

I had a question like this a few days ago for my 85 but I don't have a 383 mines a 355 with 91 d ports that i'm putting on now and as&m runners, accel intake ported to macth heads, ported plenum, 1.6 rr, stiffer valve springs, i'm looking for a TORQUE MONSTER but still every day driver
our motors are not roller cam motors so that limits our cam selection
I just bought linigfilters 213 .496/.520 with 1.6rr's but I then noticed that tpis
has a torque secret cam 700-135 that has .528/.528 with 1.6rr's buth are about the same on lobe seperation and deration I was thinking of sending the linginfilter back and getting the tpis but I don't know if I will see much of a differance also the tpis is more expenceive ( I do have a stage 2 chip but am going to upgrade soon) HELP!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO :banghead: :banghead: ALSO WELCOME :)

check out Isky's web site http://www.iskycams.com They have some good ones , I know I use to work their and thier quality is good.
