it is very easy the most you will have to do is make the shifter tunnel a little wider by about 2 inches i did the swap on mine believe me its worth it :cheers:

The '87's had the 700r4. The most difficult part I would think would be to figure out how to lockup the torque converter on a 700r4. Somebody must know how to do it around here. And what about the TV cable? Does the 4+3 have one already? I don't think they do but maybe I'm wrong.
