Comes on how many miles you got and what condition your engine is in..
I'd say you should be fine with 75-100HP dry shot. But if you set it up as a wet system, you'll be fine at 150HP shot. 85 vettes are designed pretty tough..
Your compression seems fine, but with 132K miles I wouldn't push it, unless you plan on getting a new engine soon.. Dry is always more dangerous than wet, so I'd still say get a wet kit.. It is not as 'difficult' to setup than you think.. Besides, dry OR wet, if you want to do it RIGHT and safe, it will have to be installed prefectly, with all the safety features. NOS is a HUGE shock to the stock system, as it comes on in an instant when it engages. Not like forced induction, which is a bit gradual..
