Default heated o2 sensor trouble

ok,heres the thing, heres what i have in the motor, and then ill tell you what im having trouble with,350 60 over,87 tpi setup ported upper lower intake and runners,zz4 roller cam, flat top pistons(hyper),sportsman 2 heads, msd ignition,700r4 trans, full length hooker headers into 3 inch sidepipes. Now heres the problem everything was working fine a few months back,i put a 4 wire 02 sensor in it since the 02 is so far down stream i thought it would help,it was fine for a bit then it wouldnt start when it was cold, after tracing i disconnected the hot lead to the 02 sensor and it started right up,real rich again now,so i tsucj the single wire i had new in a box in it figuring the heated one went bad.Yesterday took it for a ride and its extremely rich now with the new prom in it,idleing it kills your eyes,so i talked to -=jeff=- who made the prom and he said put another heated 02 sensor back in,so i went and bought a bosch 3 wire, black to purple 1 white to ground, back of head, other white to 12 volt fuse box.Tried starting it just cranks no start, smell fuel, disconnect hot wire to 02 fires right back up???????Now while its running i hook it back up cars idle changes smooths out, less out the pipes now,let it warm up shut it down, cooled off about an hour, wont start again, disconnect the hot wire to 02 and starts right up again, what the heck is going on.?any ideas guys,im about to put a switch in between and turn it on when the cars running :D and yes this is in my 73 vette.
