Default Sound Deadener Install Question
After putting down sound deadener material, do you reuse the carpet pad or just put the carpet on-top of the deadener?

What sound deadener did you use? If it's really thick, see how the carpet fits with the pad on. If it's pretty thin, just put it on with the pad.

I'mrying FrostKing dust insulation. It is 1/8" thick and comes in a 1'x15' roll. Home Depot $14.98. Another member posted recently about using this type.
