Air filter housing options?

Air filter housing options?
Changed the air filter element on my "new" LT4 today. I found that the stock housing is warped to the point that the old element was not sealing, and the new element is no better. I've checked the archives and many of our sponsoring suppliers, but cannot find a solution(PLENTY of C5 stuff, no C4). Do I buy a new, stock GM housing every few years or is there an aftermarket unit that is more durable?

Isn't their a way to unwarp it? Your not far from me ( Sun City about 45 minutes ) Seems to me their should be a way to fix it... I would look for a used for a replacement.... should save you some money anyway...
