Tire Rotating
I rotate my tires every year from front-back and so on, but this year the fronts are 1/2 worn and backs are only 1/4 worn. Should I rotate them anyway just because it is a new calendar year? Is it best to have better rubber on the front or back (if you had to choose only one) for wet weather driving?

It's always recommended to have the good tires on the front.
Since your rears are almost gone, why not do some burnouts, have some fun and get some new meats?

Rotate the good ones to the back and wear 'em down to match the front - oneburn out at a time. Then get new shoes all 'round.
Of course, it's not my money.
