Are my shocks bad?

Hey there everyone! When my 92 goes over some bumps and such on the road I can hear a squeeking noise coming from the front end as the car is moving up and down. Is this a pretty strong indicator that my shocks are bad and need to be replaced or can they be fixed? Any suggestions would be sweet. Thanks!

I'm in the process of replacing mine now. They go after about 75k miles. How many miles do you have on the car?

I have 93500 miles on her. So it is probably time. Could it also be the bushings? What do you think.

Generally, dampers don't squeak. One could if it were bent and the outer cover was rubbing on the shock body, but that's pretty rare. I'm betting it's a suspension pivot point, swaybar mount, or some such item.
