The boot on mine is folded up into the cap body and seems to be about flush with the bottom of the cap. The fluid is right at the Full line and when I replace the cap there is no overflow.
Should the boot ever unfold into the resevoir??

on my '90 the boot sticks far into the resevoir. if I fill to the line, when I put the cap on with the boot, some fluid usually spills out.
