What can cause this?
I have alot of shake in the car at higher speeds. The steering wheel will shake and i feel alot of vibration in the seats. I had the wheels aligned and balanced and it was better, but still not nice and smooth. I would say i begin to notice it around 60mph and really feel it at 74mph. What can i do to make the ride smooth?

run a search, look for vibration at speeds or high speed vibration
This has literally come up a thousand times, its a very common problem. I think someone replaced a shaft on the back of their transmission once and fixed it altogether but i'm not sure.

Complained about the same type of problem. Also...what type of balancer did they use on your wheels?

top was on, i was just going to start replacing the drive shaft, half shafts and bearings until i fixed it. Just looking for a good place to start first. I had a guy tell me my rims and tires where out of round? i guess it could happen but it sounds like a crock.

Before you rip it appart, check the simple stuff. Tire pressure and balance (take it back and have them check it again).
Wheels and tires can get out of round. The tire shop should check this as well.
While it's in the air, check wheel bearings and steering gear.
Like it was said, do a search for the other 127 things that can cause this.
