antenna help

my electric antenna is broken. the mast is seperated. motor still runs. can the mast only be replaced? :cheers: :auto:

The mast and plastic ribbon can be replaced. Suggest you email Jeff Kopp at Superior Chevy for GM replacement parts. He has the best price. His email address is: parts@superchevyperformance.com. Replacing the mast does involve a little work in that you should remove the antenna and clean out the old ribbon.

The "ribbon" is all you need to replace if the metal mast is not bent. Remember to clean out the old "ribbon" parts when you do the job.

thanks for the help. i had a mast and cable sent over night. 16.95 plus shipping. better than 157 for a whole new antenna. i did have to take out the antenna take the housing apart and remove broken pieces. works great now. thanks again for the help
