Default Superram question

I'm ready to take my SR in to be powder coated :hurray:

There's a boss on the back of the plenum, similar to the one for the throttle cable bracket, and I'm wondering if the face of it can be coated too. It doesn't look like a gasketed surface, but I've never done anything with one of these intakes and I'd feel better if I knew what went into those threaded holes. Thanks,
Cabo

That area is where the vacuum lines attach and the MAP sensor if you have a speed density L98 (90 and 91 only).

I'm going to do it black, not gloss and not flat, but kind of a satin. I'm taking it, and the valve covers in right now.......I am soooo jazzed  Should have the stuff back in a few days, the guy sez he'll get right on it, and he's pretty motivated too..........he's got a Chevelle that he shows that has darn near everything powder coated  Here is a link to my Yahoo photos..........there are folders in there that show before and after porting on the SR........it's a pretty interesting contrast!

Default Superram question

That is going to look very nice.

I still to this day wish my runners we're black. They look good polished, but would definitely look better black. NO, they are NOT coming off again :lolg: :jester
