Re: brake bleeding...... (My 95)
need to bleed my brakes........the book says there is a main bleeder in the storage compartment (1995) I cant seem to find it :confused:
Sounds like the book may be referring to the ABS system. If you have air in the system and you aren't sure where it is, even if you think you know where it is, you really should bleed the system at all four wheels.
Speed bleeders work great, but "gravity bleeding" also works well if you are undertaking this without help.
To gravity bleed, simply attach a clear plastic hose (any hardware store) over the bleeder outlet, loop it up higher than the caliper and then down into a container to catch the discharging fluid. Crack the bleeder valve and watch for air bubles. Be sure to keep adding fluid to the MC.
thanks Jack.......I posted before I bled.....I just bled all 4 and got air from the left rear.......I was suspecting they didnt bleed it well when they replaced the clutch slave and master........workin well now :steering:
