urathane lube

Any one know what the urathane bushing lube is. They forgot to send it with the kit. Are there any substitutes?

Ideally you want something thick and long-lasting, but anything will work. I use wheel bearing grease.

I think one of the tricks was to use marine grease because it is water proof. I also heard of mixing in some anti seize even.

Ideally you want a heavy bodied silicone grease. DOW CORNING do a suitable one 'type 111', classed as a valve lubricating and sealing grease. It is also known as 'MOLYCOTE 111' (thats a tradename, it dosen't contain moly) The tube I have is made in the USA, but I don't know if it is available or uses the same number in the US. Poly bush manufacturers charge big $$ for this lubricant, I think you will find this stuff works if you can find it. :steering:
