performance engine rebuilder on Long Island?
I am looking to rebuild the L98 in my 1986 corvette. I originally planned to do this myself- but time no longer permits. I am considering a 383 and I have a set of trick flow twisted wedge heads- I hear a lot of things about piston to valve clearance problems with these head and was hoping I could find a builder who could put my questions at ease and handle the rebuild.
In summary I am seeking advice on who provides quality engine rebuilding on Long Island.

Try the Vette Doctors in Amity. I don't know if they still do work on the older models, but it's worth a shot.
