My spark plug color seems a little odd half of the plug is white and the other half is brown-black color and some times wet.I don't think its oil,I have no smoke coming out of the exhaust and dosen't seem to be running rich but
with the last oil change I noticed a smell of fuel in the oil.Car runs great
despite this problem.Fuel pressure is 32psi vac on, 42psi vac off.
The plug insulater should be a tan color. The black on them could be from shuting down the engine at idle. Try warming up the engine, do some sprited driving :D then shut down the engine @ 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, allow engine to cool, then check the plugs. If any are wet you may have a leaky injector.
The wet plug may point to the leaky injector.
Fuel pressure looks ok.
Good Luck :seeya :flag
I dont think its the 02 sensor because it is only happening to 3 of the 8 plugs
but the funny thing is only half the plug is brown to black in color. May it be that I am using the wrong heat range on the plug (NGK FR5)
Just a thought, you did'nt say what kind of injector's you have. I have heard
of some folk's having trouble with the new Accel injector's right out of the box.
