The canister is behind the right rear tire.

There was a thread sometime in the past few months about this. Try searching the archives. As I remember it was pretty well detailed. It should have been turned into a Tech Tip.

there are three components to the canister purge system, the canister which is located behind the passenger's side rear tire/quarter panel, above a triangular panel. The canister is connected via a vacuum hose up to a check valve on the passenger side of the intake (under the panel near the throttle body) which connects to a solenoid about 8 inches back near the middle of the intake, which connects/purges into the throttle body. Make sure the electrial connector is on the solenoid and all the vacuum hoses are connected. If the electrical connector is not connected it will throw the code.
