Sounds like a good cam for you. It's a little bigger than the HOT cam, but nothing too radical. You'll probably need some computer tuning. Are you planning on upgrading your rockers, timing chain, etc...

Agreed on the computer tuning. I'll probably give pcmforless a shot considering they give free updates for 6 months. I'm also planning on doing a Cloyes true double roller, CC lifters, Crane pushrods, CC Pro-mag 1.6 rockers, FMS 30lb/hr injectors, AFPR, Meziere and TPiS Long tubes.
From what Pete at CNC Heads says, the stage III job will include making the heads bullet proof with REV valves, new springs, etc. The most important thing when looking at this cam is that I want it to take full advantage of the increased flow the LT4 heads and intake will provide.
I'm hoping for 360+ to the rear wheels once this is all done! :)
If you do not have emissions concerns, look to the Comp 230/236 Xtreme Energy grind. Lot of guys using it making great power with better drivability than the CC306 cam. I am just not a big fan of Crane.
