My right one is crapped out. 2 weeks ago, when I had my turn signal fixed at the dealership, I noticed later that night that my horn didn't work. I mashed the hell out of the button thinking it was sticking or something and I may have broken it. The dealership says I have to replace the whole wheel because the button is part of the wheel. Is this true or is there a way I can fix it myself? :smash:
You may have run into a Dealer "NOT SEPARABLE" situation. They may not be able to sell the horn button separate from a wheel.
It will be an easy repair if you can find someone over in "Parts for Sale" who might be willing to sell you just the button and wiring. The left and right buttons are a single harness under the airbag, and it's a pop out / pop in swap.
