ZF Drain Plug Idea
I boggered up the 17mm hex head in the fill plug. I went to the dealer and ordered a couple of spares. In the mean time, I thought I'd try something I'm sure you have all thought about.
I welded a 15/16 nut onto the plug to allow it to be removed much easier for later oil changes. This works great for the fill plug but may be a target for road junk on the lower drain plug.
