two 1 core intercoolers or 1 big 2 core intercooler?
i am going to pick up (i think :confused: ) just wanted to get your guys .02 cents on hp rating and such!
here it is
2 core intercooler with 3" inlet and 3" outlet. This unit measures 18" by 10 3/4".
how much power hp can these "Bigger" 2 core take and will it even fit in my 1991 vette! i have the 2- 1core intercoolers under the head lights and they seem to work pretty good?

yeah i dont know and to be honest i dont think i want to play that snake game right now! i will just keep my car how it is but in the future i am going to run a bigger intercooler and modify my front end!

Hey I'll trade you my ATI 2-core setup for your dual 1-core setup any day! And we should probably swap my P600B for your D1 also, since there's no way the single intercooler will flow enough for the D1.
You've already got the best flowing system ATI sells for the Vette. They might have a 3-core unit for Z28 but I doubt it flows much better than the duals; and I don't know where you'd fit it on a Vette without removing the front impact bar.
I think your upgrade path will be to a better quality, larger unit from Spearco, Griffin, Cartek, etc. I'll be doing that one of these years. Check out the Callaway garage sale page; they have cheap cores and sometimes complete with end tanks.

This is one hell of a big job but is so vastly superior that it is worth it.
