now that project catback is completed, i figured i would take the next step.
does anyone know where i can get my hands on some Valve covers that will actually fit my 92 LT1? everywhere i look is see this disclaimer, "not for children under the age of three." what i meant was that i see this disclamer. "not for LT1."
GM has 3 nice VC's. Polished aluminum, Chrome and Black crinkle finish. These covers are 1/4" taller than the production covers. The GMPP catalog says they are for 1986 and newer Gen I and II engines.
That is a really nice looking engine... My 92 LT1 is getting a full make-over, and I'm trying to find the CORVETTE letters that go on the fuel rail covers... and I like the valve covers, too.... You done a great job detailing your engine... I'll get in touch with Jeff again.... but, what can you tell me about those letters???
I've found that there are quite a few different styles of centerbolt covers available on Ebay. It's a great place to search for different styles and ideas.
