O.k. I know I've posted this same topic a while ago but I never got a response.
I heard from a reliable source that since we have aluminum cooling systems that we shouldn't be running with the green coolant because it will corrode. He said that there's an enzymatic Orange coolant that prevents corrosion.
Yours came with the Green coolent in it from the factory.
The orange stuff (Dexcool), was not used untill sometime in 95.
You should NOT use the Orange stuff unless you flush your system completetly. Any mix of the two will only cause a sludge inside your radiator. :bb
You can swtich, as Dexcool can be placed in vehicles designed for Green normal antifreeze. However, green stuff cannot go into a vehicle designed for the orange stuff.
Be carefull. You can really mess your car up if you mix them. I personally would use what the car came from the factory with.
