DRM and Mid America both sell kits. Both kits use flexible hoses to route air to the brakes through ducts in the front spoiler. I used to have the Mid America kit on my LT1 and the hose was the weak point, not very durable. The routing of the flexible hose is also going to effect how well the system holds up during use. I would think either one would hold up at least for a track day with the hose routed properly, city streets are going to be a bigger problem. I've seen some home made kits on the forum, check the archives. I plan on building my own eventually, thinking about using more of a solid tubing in some spots to make it more durable.
I added the Mid America kit to my car along with the Grand Sport brake package. I up graded from the 11" rotors. I have to say the the Grand Sport package held up much longer than the original set up but when I added the cooling ducts I ran for a full session with out suffering complete brake loss. The only problem is I melted the hose section that was close to the rotor. I had to add 3" silicone hoses that you can find at racerswholesale.com or than I got hold of a few pieces of the rubber hose that shops use on exhaust pipes to vent fumes outside. This has worked out the best. They have not melted or torn and show no signs of wear. Try Performance Friction "O1" compound or Hawk "HB14's" for some real stopping power! :yesnod:
I purchased the spoiler kit from Mid America....which includes the ducts for brake cooling.....works great....  Love it......
Cheap, by any means......

I also had the MA kit on my car. It's nice and easily bolts on to the front fascia with only simple tools (rivet gun was helpful), plus it looks nice and un noticeable. However, I would definately increase the size of the ducts to allow more air through. If you do this, you'll find it's much more effective. Like most of Mid America's products, this kit is intended to make your car look fast rather than be fast. But with slight modification it really worked well.

Do you know the size of the MA ducts? I tried 3" flexible ducting but had interference issues no matter how I tried to route it. I'm headed to Hallett Motor Speedway in a couple weeks. It's a 400mile one way trip and I didn't think the 3" ducts would survive the drive there.
