Car Problems still..havn't driven car in 4months : (
Here is the latest on the car problems. Please read below
Car sits over night
I go out in the morning ...start up ....booom starts right up fine.
let it run up to temp....turn off...wait a few seconds turn...boom starts right back up
so i'm thinking its cool...but for the hell of it I do the following
I turn off...then on about 5 times....with 10second delay in between
with each time the startup was longer...more like nananananan vroom
then nanananananananannanavroooom
then nanananananananannananananannanvroom
Any Ideas? I have a new fuel pump and filter that I bought...and am waiting to put in.
Any ideas please?

Sounds like you're killing the battery!
then going somewhere else...shutting it off
maybe too many too fast?

IMO, that's too many start up-shut downs in a small period of time.
I think that the worst case senario is a injector or two leaking down. Put a pressure guage on it and see what the drop is right after shut down.

If you're firing the engine everytime, then the leaky injectors won't accumulate to a flood condition, because you're burning off all the fuel anyways. Sounds like your starter doesn't like to be abused, it takes a ton of power to turn the engine over. (I think the engine uses ~20% of the power available during combustion just to keep itself turning.)
I guess just a quirk in the ECM
Maybe the start/shutdown was a little too much too soon
I have a friend letting me borrow his pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure like suggested.
What psi should it be?
Thanks,

One of the injectors was leaking big time. Original delco injectors have now been replaced with Bosh/ford. At $80/each, this is not a cheap fix. But a necessary one.... :auto:

My question and I am trying to be helpfull, is..."what happened to cause you to start doing this?"
Did you get stuck some where with a no start situation?
I have to agree with others, more than likely you are simply running the battery down. How often in real life, to you start the car...drive it a few seconds, shut it down then restart, repeat, repeat, repeat?
These cars are heavy users of electricity! The battery, without recharging won't last very long. If your Alternator is putting out 13.9+ when you first start and putting out 13.7 while driving, you are probably OK :D
Like I said, I am curious as to what caused you to start these constant, repetitive tests..
:D
