Pulsation in shift lever, engine problems??
the car is a 90 L98 M6
as the topic said, i have a lets call it pulsation in the shift lever, mostly noticeable whenn engine gets under load, like going uphills..
ive checked every tranny mounting bolt for tightness, u-joints, tranny shifts fine ( M6), clutch works fine
fact is, my engine have some clicking noise, which is very difficult to locate..its definitly not in the oil pan, it sunds rather like coming from under the doors..and no, its not the cats, definitly not :D
also i have rough idle...it runs, and from time to time, the exhaust make a spitting sound, especially in idle..
when i rev the engine, it runs strong, with a little bit shaking...
a dealer told me, that theres an aftermarket cam in it, but i don´t trust him, and i know why.. :mad
als, i´ve checked cylinder walls when i inspected the oil pan..you can see the honing finish marks, absolutely smooth, no scratches, aso..
what can this be? any suggestions??
bent pushrods? leaking valve??
Car pulls like hell, no water in oil..
every help would be welcome
thank you
