I have an 87 Coupe that has had intermittent blower problems. Now I have no blower at all. I can hear the system cycle as I go from heat to defrost to A/C and so on. Not sure where to start. Have checked fuses to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

Re: No fan blower on any setting! Help (87BLKVETTE)
Hearing the system cycle is separate from the blower control itself. Did you check the fan switch? If you had intermittent blower probs(don't know what kind) it could have been a sign that the motor itself was going up. Check the switch and the blower itself.
Re: No fan blower on any setting! Help (87BLKVETTE)
Check the wiring at the blower connector; it may have melted from excessive draw. Both the connector & the wiring are marginal for the load, especially if the motor has aged. If it needs repairs, solder the connector terminals & any splice to minimize the voltage drop.
can the fan motor actually degrade in performance over time??? My fan works fine and changes speeds like it should, but it seems like it blows pretty weak even on high. Would replacing the fan increase the blower strength??
